Small Black Planter

Toronto-based artist Helena Aurelia approaches her ceramics with a deep sense of peace and connectivity, with mindfulness at the forefront of her practice. In addition to working in ceramics, she is also a painter, and her painterly techniques are evident in the way she decorates her pottery.

Inspired by the fluidity of her mediums, Aurelia’s ceramic pieces convey a sense of tranquility through their free, organic forms. Her works function beautifully as everyday ware for a contemporary kitchen, while also serving as cool statement pieces for the dinner table.

Care & Use: Functional pieces are food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe.
